There is no dispute that data security is becoming increasingly important. Where encryption used to be the domain of high end
data sensitive environments - such as Banking, Finance and the Medical professions, the need to secure data from theft, misuse or unauthorized access is becoming significantly more acute for all users.
Following the release of Disk Encryption on IBM i 6.1, Maximum Availability has moved quickly to ensure its high availability *noMAX Suite of Products support this feature. IBM i users are now able to have both Source and Target databases on encrypted disks when using *noMAX to replicate their data.
